Limelight Landscape Lighting is a full-service outdoor lighting company committed to brightening people’s lives through the design and installation of outdoor lighting and audio. Whether it is landscape lighting, outdoor audio, or holiday lighting, we want to help our customers enjoy their outdoor living spaces. Our certified landscape lighting designers provide detailed plans and offer high quality fixtures to meet many different budgets.

Owner
Lead Lighting Designer
Limelight Landscape Lighting, LLC was founded in Knoxville, TN by Lance Asti. As both a Certified Lighting Designer and Luxor Specialist, Lance has the design knowledge and access to the very best technology in the industry.
Before beginning his career as a Landscape Lighting Designer, Lance was a collegiate swim coach at Clemson University, LSU, and most recently as the Associate Head Men’s Swim Coach at the University of Tennessee.
During his coaching career, Lance’s commitment to excellence and attention to detail granted him the ability to coach U.S. Olympians, and American Record Holders. He was selected to coach Team USA at the 2018 World Championships in Hangzhou, China. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee and Master’s Degree at Ohio University.
When not working, Lance enjoys spending time with his wife, Lizzy and his 3 children, Bryden, Gaines, and Campbell. He is also passionate about the outdoors, gardening, backpacking, and anything to get out in the fresh air.
DeShon
Holiday Lighting
Landscape Lighting Site Manager
DeShon is our site manager and leading our Holiday Lighting division. He studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tennessee along with Reliability and Maintainability.
After graduating, he joined Limelight and has been instrumental in our success. He is passionate about illuminating Knoxville’s beautiful neighborhoods. In his free time, DeShon enjoys playing board games, video games, and watching UT sports. He also enjoys fishing, biking, and spending time with friends and family.
Seth
Office Manager
Seth is our Office Manager and will be handling our warehouse and other logistic operations. He graduated with a B.A. in Supply Chain Management from the University of Tennessee.
Outside of work, Seth enjoys spending time with his close friends and is a fighter/coach for Knoxville Martial Arts Academy. He is an amateur fighter now but aims to become a pro and has goals to make it as far as he can. When Seth was in college, he swam at the Univ. of Tennessee under Associate Head Men’s Swim Coach, Lance Asti.
David
Landscape Lighting Technician
David is a Knoxville native who enjoys long walks with his cats and hot days on the lake. In David’s free time he enjoys playing ultimate frisbee and going fishing with his family.

Junior Technicians
Our Junior Technician Program was established in 2023 as a way to impact the next generation of Knoxvillle youth. This position is for high school students on their summer break and has a highly flexible schedule to accommodate family summer plans. Through this program, we work to instill values like integrity, work ethic, and craftsmanship that can be carried into any future career. We also teach the Junior Techs how to use a variety of tools and the fundamentals of outdoor lighting installation. We hope to lay a foundation for these employees to build a successful future for themselves.
